Chrissy Teigen Hits Back At Trump After He Refers To Her As Her John Legend’s ‘Filthy-Mouthed Wife’

It’s pretty much Trump’s M.O. to launch a Twitter attack against anyone who dares to criticize him or anything he does. I mean, what better things would a 73-year-old man, let alone the president of the United States, do with his time? This time, the subject of his wrath is John Legend and more particularly, his “filthy mouthed wife” Chrissy Teigen. Unsurprisingly, Teigen didn’t take this lying down.

It all started because Legend joined Lester Holt on MSNBC on Sunday night for a special town hall on criminal justice reform. While MSNBC leans more liberal (think: not hyper-conservative, focused on facts, and not constantly blowing smoke up Trump’s butt), Trump still found time on his Sunday night to tune into the broadcast and he didn’t like what he heard.

The town hall was shockingly not full of people praising Trump and in fact found fault in his lack of progress on criminal justice reform. The president’s response? Blame Obama! Well, kinda…

“When all of the people pushing so hard for Criminal Justice Reform were unable to come even close to getting it done, they came to me as a group and asked for my help,” Trump tweeted. “I got it done with a group of Senators & others who would never have gone for it. Obama couldn’t come close… A man named @VanJones68, and many others, were profusely grateful (at that time!). I SIGNED IT INTO LAW, no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit,” Trump tweeted following the broadcast.

He went on to smack talk Legend and Teigen (who he blocked on the social media platform a long time ago and who wasn’t even involved in the town hall), and thus a new hashtag was born.

Soon enough, #PresidentPussyAssBitch began trending on Twitter and everyone got in on the fun. It seems like Trump didn’t have any other response to Teigen or anyone who got the hashtag trending, but it’s hard to believe that he’s not aware of it since I’d put money on him scrolling his feed desperately looking for anyone and everyone who thinks he’s doing a good job. Something tells me he’ll be looking for a while.
