Donald Trump Fires Personal Assistant For Drunkenly Trash-Talking Tiffany Trump

There are a lot of things people suspect about the Trump family that are never officially confirmed. One of the most pernicious and sad rumors (that aren’t about abusing the general population) is that Donald Trump doesn’t like his daughter Tiffany Trump. Ivanka is clearly his favorite. In fact, he seems entirely too interested in Ivanka, in most people’s opinion. Tiffany is probably better off, but it still can’t feel great to be so publicly slighted by her dad that everyone knows you have a bad relationship.

Now everyone really knows, because Trump’s personal assistant Madeleine Westerhout got suddenly fired on Thursday, Politico reports, supposedly after telling a bunch of reporters the president’s dirty family secrets at an event earlier this month at the Embassy Suites hotel near Trump’s Bedminster golf club. Reporters were there to cover events at the club, and things got a little wild at dinner.

According to a person at the scene, Westerhout was a little soused and started bragging that she’s closer to Trump than his daughters, that he “couldn’t pick Tiffany out of a crowd” and didn’t like being photographed with her because he considers her fat. Yikes.

Trump has commented on the situation on Twitter, of course, dragging his former co-worker Omarosa into the situation. He mentioned a confidentiality agreement he has with Westerhout in a way that almost seems like an implied threat that she should keep her mouth shut, then mentions an NDA with Omarosa and a lawsuit he has with her over it:

He also throws in that he loves Tiffany, in a very convincing way.

What’s funny is that Eric Columbus, lawyer and former Obama appointee, says that if Trump got anyone to sign an NDA while he was in the White House, it won’t hold up in court:

Guess we should sit back and wait for that Madeline Westerhout tell-all. Daddy Trump didn’t like you enough to keep your job, babe. Get that money.
