Eric Trump was trending on Twitter today for opening his mouth again. This time, his mouth was on Wednesday’s episode of Fox & Friends defending Donald Trump’s tweets about how the four congresswomen most threatening to him should go back to where they came from, which the House of Representatives officially voted to call racist yesterday.

Eric doubled down on his dad’s assertion that the four women and “haters” should just leave the country, calling The Squad a “clown show.”

But perhaps the most ridiculous thing he said was to claim that 95% of people living in the U.S. are behind the President in terms of his “message.”

To be completely fair, Eric was probably referring to “American pride” when he said 95% of Americans agree with Donald, but even on that subject, the number seems high. Especially when Fox News was freaking out over a poll that found U.S. patriotism is at an all-time low right now just two weeks ago. Either way, Eric’s statements are contradictory and absurd.

“No one’s been fighting for American pride,” Eric said in the lead-up to the 95 percent comment. “And standing up for the national anthem and standing up for our flag. And not allowing our flag to be burned in the streets. No one’s been fighting for these things. My father is in there and he is fighting every single day.”

No one stands up for the national anthem? Has Eric never been to a sporting event in this country?

Whatever Eric meant, it doesn’t much matter, because if there’s anything 95% of Americans can agree on, it’s that Eric is only good for being mocked on Twitter. Here is a sampling of today’s best jokes:
