u/ThrowRAlopa goes on to clarify that they are not married and that the account had been set up by her mother so that the once-happy couple could jointly save towards buying a house in a few years down the line. Instead, her boyfriend transferred all the money to his private account — and on top of that, she says he’s broke, so it’s likely to get spent right away.
