Paul Rudd Wants Fellow Millennials To Wear Their Masks

The desperate quest to find anything that will convince people to wear their masks continues — this time in the form of a PSA featuring millennial fave actor Paul Rudd.

First We Feast, the company that constantly brings us videos of celebrities answering thought-provoking questions while eating increasingly hotter hot wings, teamed up with Rudd to create the spot, and the results are…very pointedly aimed at millennials, without a doubt.

“Yo, what up, dudes?” Rudd says, looking like he just stepped out of a comedy from the early ‘00s. “A few days ago, I was talking on the iPhone with my homey, Governor Cuomo, and he’s just going off about how us millennials need to wear masks, because — get this — apparently a lot of COVID is transmitted by us millennials. No cap.”

The slang gets worse, but the message stays clear, ending with a frustrated Rudd yelling at viewers: “Just wear a mask! I shouldn’t have to make it fun! It’s science! It’s science. Ughhh!”

The responses to the video have generally been positive, considering it’s basically impossible not to love Paul Rudd.

And casting an ageless sorcerer for the PSA was clearly a stroke of brilliance.

But maybe he should take this PSA to other generations, too.

Hey, whatever gets more people masking up!
