Each day of the quarantine imposed by coronavirus/COVID-19 offers a new challenge to our collective sanity and well-being. How much can people learn in online classes? How much social distancing can we withstand before we become true hermits? How much toilet paper do each of us have left??
Well, humanity may be down but it’s not out, and we will continue to invent new ways to amuse ourselves until this ordeal is over. The newest coronavirus-inspired meme to streak across the internet is the Quarantine House meme in which people must choose what (generally terrible) combination of celebrities or world-historical figures they’d choose to be quarantined with.
It’s a bit like the game F*ck Marry Kill except now you have to decide whether you’d rather be roommates with Cardi B or Hitler.
Others are positive, fictional, or highly specific, like “Irish History Quarantine House,” so rest assured there’s a theoretical quandary for everyone.
