This Photographer Had A Brilliant Response To A Bride Angry Over Her Support Of Black Lives Matter

A photographer in Cincinnati just won over the internet with her response to an “All Lives Matter” bride firing her over her public support of Black Lives Matter.

Shakira Rochelle’s photography Instagram is largely dedicated to showing off her work — beautiful photos of weddings, families, and a heck of a lot of babies fill up the space. But she took time recently to include something different.

“Shakira Rochelle Photography stands in solidarity with the black community,” she wrote. “The black lives matter movement has my endless support.”

The post didn’t sit well with a bride-to-be who had hired Rochelle to shoot her wedding.

Rochelle shared photos of a text exchange she had with the anonymous bride on Facebook earlier this week. They eventually found their way to Twitter, and the internet is absolutely losing it over the conversation.

The bride starts out by requesting a refund on the deposit for Rochelle’s services.

“We have done a lot of talking and we cannot bring ourselves to support anyone who is so outspoken on matters that simply do not concern them as well as someone that does not believe that ALL lives matter,” she says, in a jumble of absurdity.

Our mysterious bride goes on to claim that it would be embarrassing to have Rochelle at her wedding, and that her anti-racism suggests she isn’t “stable enough” to photograph the event.

Just a friendly reminder Shakira Rochelle Photography supports the black lives matter movement endlessly 🙂

But it’s Rochelle’s response that really takes the cake.

Ever the professional, Rochelle politely points out that the bride signed a standard contract, meaning her deposit is non-refundable, even if she cancels.

“I wish you a life time of growth and I would love to thank  you for your donation to Black Lives Matter,” Rochelle writes.

The internet is obsessed with this swift takedown of a small-minded woman.

And everyone’s coming out to show support for Rochelle and her business.

But seriously…can we stop with the “All Lives Matter” nonsense yet?
