Rudy Giuliani Once Again Butt-Dials Reporter And Talks About Crimes

In a somehow characteristic manner, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani managed to accidentally and unknowingly dial the number of an NBC reporter in the middle of the night and leave a voicemail in which he and others can be heard discussing Ukraine, something about fraud, and a need for more cash. NBC News, of course, published some of the highlights of the audio.

There were a couple of unflattering details that seemed to come out during the call, including the fact that Giuliani needs money.

“The problem is we need some money,” he’s heard saying before a long silence. Then: “We need a few hundred thousand.”

He also seems to possibly implicate someone named “Charles” in a fraud case.

“You know,” he said. “Charles would have a hard time with a fraud case ‘cause he didn’t do any due diligence.”

NBC didn’t make any guessed about who Charles might be or what fraud case he would have trouble with.

This is not the first time Giuliani has committed the dreaded butt-dial. You’d think he would have found a way to lock his phone to prevent it like everybody else in the entire world, and yet here we are. Just 18 days earlier, the lawyer butt-dialed the same reporter and left a three-minute voicemail trashing the Biden family.

“When he became vice president, the kid decided to go around the world and say, ‘Hire me because I’m Joe Biden’s son,'” Giuliani can be heard saying about Hunter Biden. “And most people wouldn’t hire him because he had a drug problem.”

The young Biden has struggled with addiction to cocaine for over a decade.

Giuliani can also be heard claiming that either Joe or Hunter Biden tried to do “the same thing” in other countries, likely referring to the unfounded claims that Republicans have been desperately trying to circulate as Joe continues to lead the polls for the 2020 Democratic nomination.

“There’s plenty more to come out,” he said. “He did the same thing in China. And he tried to do it in Kazakhstan and in Russia.”

He also seemed to say that the country which Donald Trump pressured to investigate Joe Biden needs to be forced into doing so.

“They don’t want to investigate because he’s protected, so we gotta force them to do it,” he said.

Force them to do it by threatening to withhold military aid? Asking for a committee.
