Not long after (finally) leaving the job she didn’t do in the White House, former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has accepted a position as a Fox News contributor. At this point, Fox News has become like a sanctuary city for former White House staff.
Her first appearance will be on Fox & Friends on September 6, where she can lie without reporters questioning her about it. She also won’t be unfamiliar with the studio, since by the end of her tenure as Press Secretary she was going directly on Fox News to take questions from their anchors more often than she was holding her formerly daily press briefings.
Sanders has been in the news less and less lately as she slowly faded from public view, but Twitter has not forgotten about her. Here are some of our favorite reactions to the news that she’ll be back on TV soon:
Congratulations to Sarah Sanders, whose father is Mike Huckabee and whose brother killed a dog, and still manages to be the worst person in her family.— The Volatile Mermaid (@OhNoSheTwitnt) August 22, 2019
Some call Fox News “State TV”. This is getting harder and harder to contest.https://t.co/EnfYPQ6jaL— Seth MacFarlane (@SethMacFarlane) August 22, 2019

So she's keeping the same job she had before.https://t.co/malQYFHzg1— Keith Boykin (@keithboykin) August 22, 2019
The news that Sarah Huckabee Sanders is joining Fox News is about as surprising as water flowing down hill.— Dan Rather (@DanRather) August 22, 2019
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is taking her lies, propaganda, conspiracy theories, and Trump fanaticism to @FoxNews. In other words, she will fit right in.— Ryan Knight 🗽 (@ProudResister) August 22, 2019
Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied right into the faces of White House press corps and now she's joining the president's personal state-run propaganda arm but don't you dare say anything about her smokey eye shadow because oh my god we don't want the media running for the fainting couch— Jeff Tiedrich (@itsJeffTiedrich) August 22, 2019
Lie to the public every day for a racist, misogynistic president and be assured a TV gig when you're done doing that. Spicer and Huckabee career makeovers via TV is sickening.— Rebecca Shuri She Ready Carroll (@rebel19) August 22, 2019

Pastor Huckabee must be so proud that his daughter Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be joining Fox News and continue to bear false witness for a living.— Matthew Kick (@MatthewKick) August 22, 2019
They’ve turned into the trump admin’s unemployment office.

There was only really two places Sarah Sanders could have gone, Fox News or Confession.— Jeremy Newberger (@jeremynewberger) August 22, 2019
Wait! Hasn’t @SarahHuckabee been working for Fox since she joined the Trump campaign? Or is that Fox has been working for the Trump campaign? It’s all so confusing.

Not looking forward to seeing Sarah Huckabee Sanders as a blond.— The Volatile Mermaid (@OhNoSheTwitnt) August 22, 2019

You’d think a former press secretary for the #whitehouse would be able to get a job anywhere, but working for Trump obviously limits your options to dairy cow manure remover or Fox news ass-kisser.

Watch out Fox. She normally doesn’t show up for her job.

Many people are saying Sarah Sanders should be launched into space instead.

Well that didn’t take long at all https://t.co/j1R8UBT71V

At least she’ll finally be talking to the press 🤷🏻♂️

Maybe she just won’t show up for the job like when she worked in the White House and we’ll never have to hear about her again.
