Susan Rice Immediately Claps Back To Trump’s Attack Against Her, Calls Him ‘Gross’

Earlier this month, Trump decided to withdraw U.S. troops from a part of Northern Syria effectively greenlighting an attack from Turkey. The move has been condemned by anyone who knows anything about the region, which includes not only Nancy Pelosi, but former National Security Advisor to President Barack Obama, Susan Rice.

Rice appeared on Bill Maher’s show late on Friday to discuss how she thinks Trump’s decided was a betrayal to the Kurds, former U.S. allies, and ISIS would likely be popping up again real soon, The Hill reports.

“It’s going nowhere good,” she told Maher and the audience.

Obviously, Trump gets all his policy advisement through television clips, so he must have seen Rice. After her appearance, he tweeted this attack against her:

“Susan Rice, who was a disaster to President Obama as National Security Advisor, is now telling us her opinion on what to do in Syria. Remember RED LINE IN THE SAND? That was Obama. Millions killed! No thanks Susan, you were a disaster.”

But Trump forgot that Rice doesn’t work for his administration. She did not need to hold back. She quote-tweeted the president, asking if he thought she was so bad at her job, why did he hug her (shudder) and compliment her at the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner?

“Then why did you come up and hug me at 2015 WHCD when I’d never met you (which was totally gross) and whisper in my ear that I had been ‘very unfairly treated’ over Benghazi and ‘was doing a great job for the country’?”

The Hill actually interviewed Trump at the time about the hug, since it happened in front of witnesses, thank goodness. He told them, “She’s got the toughest job…She’s a good woman, and nothing in life is easy, there’s no question about it.”

Oddly wise words from grandpa prez.
