Look, most of us have shoplifted when we were kids — even just one thing. Maybe it was a candy bar you couldn’t pay for or a lipstick your friend dared you to pocket. It’s not great to steal, obviously, but most of us get it out of our system and go on to be honest adults.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was once a young kid — and boy did he shoplift. Johnson recently came clean about how he used to shoplift Snickers bars from a local 7-Eleven when he lived in Hawaii.

But Johnson, now a famous celebrity with tons of money, recently went back to that 7-Eleven to “exorcise” his demons and right his wrongs — by paying for all that candy.

He shared a video of himself on Instagram buying all of the Snickers bars, paying for customer’s purchase, and tipping the sales assistant.

“When I was 14 years old every day I used to stop here at this 7-Eleven and steal a king-sized Snickers bar because I couldn’t afford to buy one,” he wrote. “That was my pre-workout food and I did that for almost a year, every day.”

“I had to come back, and buy every Snickers bar on those shelves.”

The 50-year-old racked up a bill of $298. He shared his gratitude with the cashier and said, “Thank you so much, I appreciate you.”

“I’ve exercised a few big demons over the years (I still have a few left;) so I know this one seems VERY SILLY, but I always knew I needed to go in and clean out every Snickers bar they had – the right way,” Johnson added.

“After decades of me wanting to come back home to 7-Eleven and try and make good, that felt really good.”
