Trump meeting with El Paso hospital staff and calling Beto crazy

Leaked Video Shows Trump Bragging About His Crowd Sizes During Visit With El Paso Shooting Victims

Video of Donald Trump going on a tangent about his El Paso rally held earlier this year, lying about the size of his crowd, and calling the Democratic presidential candidate “crazy,” has emerged on Twitter.

At the time, Trump was visiting with the staff at an El Paso hospital where many of the victims from the recent mass shooting had been taken.

“That was some crowd,” Trump says. “We had twice the number outside. And then you had this crazy Beto. Beto had like 400 people in a parking lot, and they said his crowd was wonderful.”

In reality, the low estimate for Beto’s counter-rally in February was 7,000 people, with Bloomberg News and local police estimating 10,000-15,000.

Trump also took a jab at the news media in the video after someone showed him his Donald Trump socks, saying “don’t tell that to the press because they won’t even believe it.”

Many individuals have found these attacks to be highly inappropriate during a visit to a hospital where victims of a white supremacist mass shooting that left 22 dead are still recovering, calling his words “sick” and “an absolute disgrace.”

Indeed, none of the living victims recovering at the El Paso University Medical Center consented to a visit from Trump, and only two eventually agreed to meet with him when he showed up.
