Donald Trump on Fox News with Sean Hannity

“He’s Gonna Be Your President”—Trump Seems To Predict Losing To Joe Biden In Interview

Donald Trump seemed to suggest that he’s expecting Joe Biden to beat him in the upcoming presidential election in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News Thursday evening. Trump suggested that Biden “can’t put two sentences together” immediately before saying he doesn’t want to be “nice or un-nice” about it.

“I mean, the man can’t speak,” Trump says, “and he’s gonna be your president because some people don’t love me, maybe, and all I’m doing is doing my job.”

Trump goes on to call the novel coronavirus pandemic the “China plague,” yet another racist term that is inciting hate against anyone who looks vaguely Asian to racist people, and claims that the economy was great before the pandemic hit. It was actually only great for people who were already rich, but that’s probably why Trump knows he just may lose. There just aren’t enough rich people to vote for him and nearly everyone else is tired of his antics.

Of course, attacking Biden’s speaking ability (which is admittedly not often great) only draws comparisons to Trump’s own bizarre speech patterns. The same Hannity interview had people pointing out that when asked to name his top priorities for a second term as president, he failed to name one coherent item.

“Not killing people” would be a pretty decent platform for Trump at this point, but that doesn’t seem to be what he’s actually advocating for. Rather, he was just attacking John Bolton again following the publishing of his tell-all book The Room Where It Happened. The rest is classic Trump free- association babble.

If the election were held today, Trump would almost certainly be right about Biden becoming president. The latest poll by The New York Times shows Biden leading by a healthy 14 points. Even Fox News’ poll shows Biden in the lead by 12 points, widening his lead since May.

In what seems like a confirmation of Fox News’ predictions, many people are enjoying this particular clip from the Hannity interview.

Bye, Don.
