After another unsurprisingly sexist move by Donald Trump, the Internet is up in arms. This time, the President insulted Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the United States House of Representatives, by sharing a video of her talking and saying: “Because Nancy’s teeth were falling out of her mouth, and she didn’t have time to think!”

Trump was responding to Mark Meadows, who was responding to The Hill, which had shared a video of Pelosi talking about…Trump and his proclivity for bribery.
Pelosi, who says the House has no choice but to impeach the President, told a reporter that bribery wasn’t included in the articles of impeachment after she worked with the committee chairs and attorneys.

Afterward, Trump called Pelosi “crazy” and wrote that she “Nancy is finding defending Shifty Schiff harder than she thought!”
Congressional Do Nothing Democrats are being absolutely decimated in their districts on the subject of the Impeachment Hoax. People that voted for them are literally screaming in their faces. Crazy Nancy is finding defending Shifty Schiff harder than she thought! #2020Election— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 15, 2019
The thing is, we’ve seen this sort of bullying tactic a hundred times before. Trump focuses on someone’s looks or age when he doesn’t like what they have to say.
In fact, Trump delights in insulting, denigrating, reducing, and bullying others, and so while it’s not surprising, it is ceaselessly disappointing. At a time when more and more women are stepping up in power— Greta Thunberg, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Hillary Clinton—there’s no doubt that Trump attacks when he feels threatened and emasculated by their very presence.
The Internet is seriously over his bullying ways.
Nancy’s teeth were falling out of her mouth? That’s the most ridiculous, outlandish statement making absolutely no sense other than being just pure spite and preschool meanness, and it is truly unbelievable that it came from the President of the United States.— Eugene Gu, MD (@eugenegu) December 15, 2019
You have ZERO boundaries and are the “Bully In Chief”. Every day you bring lower levels of disrespect to the Oval Office and this country.— Aleisha Lou Who (@Leisha_17) December 16, 2019
This is mean. You embolden the people who support you.— Jeffrey Guterman (@JeffreyGuterman) December 15, 2019
I'm over here in Norway, and I don't assume to understand US politics but... what the hell is wrong with him??— Eirik Bull (@Eirik_Bull) December 15, 2019
Mia Farrow, who is a vocal Trump critic, took a swipe at him using his own medicine:
Funny- as you slur your words so frequently, many of us wonder if YOUR teeth keep falling out— Mia Farrow (@MiaFarrow) December 16, 2019
And so did a few others:
THIS GUY wants you to know that someone ELSE'S teeth are falling out of their mouth. pic.twitter.com/d150t33Zzo— Brian Tyler Cohen (@briantylercohen) December 15, 2019
Difference between our disrespectful narcissist president and Nancy Pelosi? She sucks on a mint and he says she can't keep her teeth in her mouth. Look at Trump falling apart. He can barely keep his dentures in his mouth to finish his speech. Didn't see Nancy making fun of him. https://t.co/4MwGdKtA8K— Ted Best (@TedBest14) December 16, 2019
But the fact is this: Trump hates women because they make him feel small. History won’t remember his insults; it’ll remember the fact that he needed to hurl them.
He hates strong women. And he’s afraid of them— Jason Haber (@jasonhaber) December 15, 2019
In the past week Donald Trump has:— Palmer Report (@PalmerReport) December 16, 2019
- Attacked a sixteen year old girl
- Superimposed his own head onto that girl’s body
- Attacked a congressman’s widow
- Falsely claimed the Speaker of the House’s teeth fell out
If you vote for this guy in 2020, you’re as fucked as he is.
