“Nosy Neighbor Nancy” Tries To Bar Hispanic Man From Visiting Aunt, Calls Cops

In a ridiculous show of white lady racism, a woman in Alphabet City in New York City launched into an inquisition directed at Alfredo Sandoval, a Hispanic man (with his children) who was visiting his aunt in the woman’s apartment building. In other words, he was simply existing and bothering no one while she felt she had the right to launch an attack (and call the cops) on the man who, again, was with small children.

Of course, the entire ordeal was caught on video.

**Racism In America** I exercised patience in a situation that was not deserving. I issued tolerance in the face of evil and I gave respect when it was not offered to me or my children. This is not America or American. This behavior is deep seeded hatred and intolerance towards people of color and Latinos. I post this video because my children had to bear witness of this hate. I ask all my friends to please share this persons repulsive and inhumane behavior. When they go low, we go high. The World has no space this type of hate. #LoveOverHate #Equality #RacismInAmerica #ABetterTommorow #ABetterUnitedAmerica

Alfredo Sandoval, of the Bronx, shared the video to his Facebook saying the woman showed, “deep-seeded hatred and intolerance towards people of color and Latinos.”

If you’re wondering what—besides racism—kicked it off? Nothing at all. The woman saw Sandoval at the door and demanded, “What’re you here for?”

He then explained that he was visiting his aunt, to which she responded, “You’re lying.” After Sandoval explained that his aunt lived on the second floor and that he doesn’t have to tell her anything else, the woman threatened to call the police.

He then said, “You are doing this in front of my young kids,” which prompted the woman to oh-so-cleverly say the exact same thing back to him: “You’re doing this in front of your kids.”

She then called the police, described Sandoval, and said he wouldn’t leave her building.

The tantrum continued as the woman claimed to know everyone in the building and that her concern was theft. Because a man visiting his aunt, with kids in tow, is very sketchy.

“I exercised patience in a situation that was not deserving. I issued tolerance in the face of evil and I gave respect when it was not offered to me or my children. This is not America or American.”

He continued, “I post this video because my children had to bear witness of this hate. I ask all my friends to please share this person’s repulsive and inhumane behavior. When they go low, we go high. The World has no space this type of hate.”

The police never showed up.

Sadly, this sort of racism-driven situation happens far too often (remember BBQ Becky?). Here’s to hoping that shaming these people will make others question and dismantle their own bigotry and stop these situations from happening.
