26 “Co-Worker” Updates From Folks Working From Home

A lot more people are working from home these days as we all try to practice as much social distancing as we can. Many of these individuals haven’t worked from home much or at all before, and the experience is resulting in a lot of funny moments, including the sounds of kids on conference calls as well as trying to handle their fur kids, many of whom do not understand what work even is.

This led Twitter user @altrey to start the trend of people sharing their pets’ antics while referring to them as their “co-worker.”

The best part about the replies is that if you didn’t know any better, you could be convinced that the tweets were talking about real human co-workers. Or maybe I’ve just had too many nightmare co-workers in the past.

It’s also fun trying to guess which type of pet people are talking about, and thankfully many people have included photos so you can find out. Is the “co-worker” jumping from the window to the ceiling fan a cat, or a frog? Also, some of the puns are top-notch.

Whether you’re working from home or stuck at home with nothing to do, these tweets should cheer you right up, or at least provide a momentary distraction from the horrors happening outside. Anyway, here are our favorite entries:
